Cookies we use
| Cookie | Purpose | Category | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
nifexpress_session | Maintains your logged-in session and the multi-step checkout state. Without this cookie the site cannot function. | Necessary | 8 hours |
nif-consent-v2 | Records your cookie choices (which categories you accepted or declined) so we do not ask again. Kept in your browser's local storage; it is never sent to our servers. | Necessary | 6 months, then we ask again |
nif_utm | Records the campaign parameters (utm_*utm_*, gclidgclid) of the advert you arrived from, so we can tell which advert produced an order. Only written after you turn on Analytics. | Analytics (advertising measurement) | 30 days |
__cf_* | Set by Cloudflare to identify trusted web traffic and protect against DDoS attacks. | Necessary (security) | 30 days |
__stripe_mid, __stripe_sid | Set by Stripe on the payment page to detect fraud. Only active on the checkout page. | Necessary (payment security) | 1 year / 30 minutes |
_ga, _ga_* | Set by Google Analytics 4 to distinguish unique visitors and measure site usage. IP addresses are anonymised. Data is processed by Google LLC. See Google's Privacy Policy. | Analytics | 2 years |
_clck, _clsk | Set by Microsoft Clarity, only after you accept and only on our public information pages, to record pseudonymised session replays and heatmaps. _clck keeps the Clarity user ID and preferences; _clsk joins a visitor's page views into one session recording. Data is processed by Microsoft Corporation. See Microsoft's Privacy Statement. | Analytics | 1 year / 1 day |
CLID, MUID, ANONCHK, MR, SM | Third-party cookies that Microsoft lists for Clarity (same conditions). CLID identifies the first time Clarity saw a browser on any site that uses Clarity. MUID identifies unique web browsers visiting Microsoft sites and is used by Microsoft for advertising, site analytics and other operational purposes. ANONCHK, MR and SM are linked to MUID: they indicate whether MUID is passed to the advertising cookie ANID (always 0, because Clarity does not use ANID), whether to refresh MUID, and they synchronise MUID across Microsoft domains. | Analytics | Not stated by Microsoft |
